Love the photograph up top and love todays WoD! How many rounds for time on this one?

  • mblam626 says:

i think Eric means it’s 3 rounds. first round is 21 reps of each exercise, then 15, then 9.

thanks everyone for pushing me through my last two piss poor performances. i felt like paul pierce in the nba finals. im going to scale down so that it doesn’t take me twice as long as everyone else to finish the workout. =( my motivation to scale down came when Eric walked in and told me my push presses were “straight up gross.” haha

    Messy Marv,

Don’t feel too bad about your performance. You’re doing great and for sure we’ll all be there to to make sure to bust your ass on your WOD’s. Just make sure you do the same for us.

As for today’s WOD, seem like my chest and shoulders are going to be nice and sore tomorrow! Thanks Eric.

  • Eric says:

Marvin, you’re spot on again, on both topics.

The WoD: is 21 reps of each 3 movements, 15 reps of each 3 movements, 9 reps of each movement.

Scaling workouts: TECHNIQUE, CONSISTENCY, INTENSITY! This the road map for how we make sure safety and range of motion present in every WoD and movement!

Now that we’ve got so much momentum and energy at every workout, it’s time for a re-calibration to make sure we’re doing it right.

    ….”Everything Counts!”

    Eric

P.S. – This morning I made every rep count for an Rx’d JT of 25:57 – This WoD is about the journey for most of us. Whether you’re learning to kip through a HSPU or blasting banded ring dips, the effort must first be on developing the full movement CONSISTENTLY!

Also, major props to Jay Cooke & C.Mart for the wall ball joint challenge. Marv, your effort is seriously inspiring, keep pushin man, it helps keep me on point too!
